* It is recommended that travelers needing a visa to visit the United States apply at least 90 days before arriving, or by approximately the fourth week of December. The scientific committee will try to expedite decisions on abstract submissions of attendees needing a visa so that they will know whether their abstract has been accepted prior to beginning the visa process. If you need a visa and submit your abstract by December 4, 2008, the scientific committee will make every effort to notify you of its decision by December 19, 2008.
